8 Quick Apply Full-time 8 hours ago Full Job Description Central Kia of Plano is always looking to add a qualified Automotive Master Technician to our rapidly expanding service center.
The ideal candidate should be a skilled-level technician who can perform diagnoses and repairs in all areas, in addition to specialized areas of repair.
Job Duties:
Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.
Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean.
Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
Understands, acknowledges, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
Job Requirements:
Automotive knowledge/experience required.
Pay is based on experience.
Valid driver license with a good driving record Certifications, Licenses, and registrations required.
Flexible schedule Wear approved safety glasses when in designated safety area.
Keep work area clean and tidy.
