HR Benefits Specialist

We are looking for someone to help with our Insurance and 401K audits.
This individual will be responsible for helping our accountants perform monthly audits, quarterly reports and annual reports.
This position will also be responsible for maintaining an accurate list of employees that are eligible to receive these benefits and help answer employee questions.
You will have to have some experience working with Employee Benefits as well as knowledge of industry rules and regulations for benefits and 401K.
Accounting experience will be helpful, but not mandatory for the right candidate.

Handles responsibilities independently Highly organized and meticulous Confident, articulate, & professional speaking abilities Highly adaptable Excellent time management skills Comfortable interacting Maintain cordial and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts Critical thinking and good judgment to quickly determine and prioritize key issues Advanced knowledge of Excel, proficient in Word and PowerPoint Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including attentive listener and willingness to take initiative Self-driven Maintain database of current and previous employees Administration and communication of employee benefits Maintain and administer HIPAA Privacy Policy Reconcile and process Medical, Life, LTD and FSA check registers, retirement plan deposits, vendor invoices and financial reports Assist with annual 401(k) Plan Audit, including review of Financial Statements, 5500, and SARS Assist with annual Medical, Life, LTD and FSA 5500 and SARS Conduct analysis and audits of employee benefits and retirement programs Evaluate the efficiency and value of current programs and make recommendations for improvements and change Perform other related task and duties as assigned Overtime work on Saturday may be required Job Type:
