Responsibilities:
Initiates and performs administrative tasks for the ministry, including scheduling appointments, answering telephones and emails, ordering office supplies, and other clerical and administrative duties Responds to requests and inquiries from Childrens ministry leadership, teachers, members, attendees, and prospects Provides administrative support for LifeGroups including running reports, preparing and updating rosters, classroom assignments, and other resources as needed Serves alongside the 1st thru 6th grade staff in all administrative assignments for LifeGroups and ministry events Completes and submits check requests, purchase orders, and credit card requests for 1st 6th grade staff Composes and distributes correspondence for Childrens Ministry Coordinates with appropriate church staff for the purpose of organizing ministry events Under the direction of the Minister, may compose and create informational letters, brochures, etc.
for distribution for Childrens Ministry by collaborating with the Communications department Assists with enlisting volunteers for special assignments and needs in the Childrens Ministry Ensures volunteer screening processes are followed Maintains volunteer background lists and requests updates as required Leads the coordination of the New Christians classes and family baptism scheduling Prepares materials for training Assists with preparation and execution of Special Events conducted by the Childrens Ministry to include, but not limited to Kidz Camp, Adventure Week (VBS), and Preteen Weekend Maintenance of files and databases Other duties as assigned QualificationsRequirements:
Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of Prestonwood Baptist Church Have a joyful passion for Childrens Ministry Experience in a secretarial or clerical role Excellent planning and organizational skills Team player Strong communication skills, both written and oral Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products Willing to work a Sunday Thursday schedule that includes Wednesday evenings Able to perform physical activities that require moving ones whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and use of stairs Recommended Skills Communication Coordinating Databases Leadership Maintenance Microsoft Office Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
