Tax Analyst II

Description:
Assists with tax and legal research and documents new thresholds, limits, and rates based on legislative and tax court changes.
Analyzes existing tax strategies and compares the new thresholds, limits, and rates to those in Tax Advisor to identify where product changes are needed.
Research where state legislation conforms or does not conform with federal legislation and where appropriate case law as it relates to tax strategies Verifies that the articles within Tax Advisor contain up to date thresholds, limits, and rates and where needed find new articles to replace the existing articles that contain stale data.
Updates strategy card text to conform with the new thresholds, limits, and rates.
Research, analyze, and interpret existing and proposed legislation at both the federal and state levels.
Skills:
Income Tax Experience including preparation, planning, and research for federal and state levels.
Experience with documenting (in layman terms) laws and impacts to laws to a personal / business situation.
Recommended Skills Income Tax Laws Research Legal Research Tax Management Tax Strategies Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
