Senior Manual Test Engineer with Automotive Location:
Plano, TX (Onsite) Project Description It is a great opportunity to work on development of the next generation Infotainment system for one of the largest American OEMs.
You will be able to gain unprecedented knowledge in integrating the most advanced technologies on the market and be a part of ongoing mobility revolution in Automotive world.
This role assumes collaboration with OEM and support with evaluation activities related to the Program and give insight to multiple additional opportunities in validation space.
Responsibilities We are looking for individuals who can think outside the box, understand how important the overall user experience is, and can articulate how something designed per spec may impact usability.
Analyze Use Cases and Requirements Create Test Cases Triaging defects created on the OEM side, assign to suppliers and track the progress Build metrics and graphs for defect management Prepare the pre-requisites for the upcoming testing Review Test plan, schedules, release plans, test cases Work on-site as a part of the Client's test team Ensure integrity of test cases in JIRA Plan test cycles, create test cases collection Testing point of contact for horizontal team Support Triage, defect prioritization, retesting and defect closure Timely updates to JIRA tickets for issue resolution visibility and progress Support Product Owners with joint test events (customer and suppliers) Attend program test events (functional testing) Skills Must have Minimum Automotive Testing
Experience:
2 years Ability and desire to relocate to Dallas area (Plano, Texas) within the first 4-6 weeks of employment.
Experience in testing of AT LEAST ONE of these areas:
Automotive Navigation Automotive Voice Input Automotive UI/UX Nice to have ISTQB Certification Understanding of ASPICE Senior Manual Test Engineer with Automotive - Plano, TX (Onsite) Recommended Skills Automotive Industry Istqb Jira Metrics Networking Problem Solving Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
