IT Procurement Manager

Job Description:
Looking for a passionate and highly motivated procurement analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the creation and execution of category procurement strategies including but not limited to specific Information Systems/Technology Software and Software Service categories.
Other categories such as Professional Services and Hardware may be supported as needed.
Reporting to the Indirect Procurement Sourcing Manager, the person in this role will support the IPSS (Indirect Procurement Shared Services) department objective to provide innovative, stable and flexible solutions with industry-leading practices with an eye on reducing costs and mitigating risks.
Requirements:
Manager is looking for candidates who possess3-5 years of experience working as a Project Manager and IT procurement who has managed larger enterprise level of projects.
The candidate needs to have great attention to detail and should be able to elaborate well about their projects and IT procurement.
The candidate must possess strong, analytical, verbal and written communication (should be concise and clear) skills.
In addition, the candidate must possess the necessary behavioral skills that are conducive for successful and positive team collaboration.
Exceptional analytic, organization, presentation and interpersonal skills with applied solid judgement and strategic thinking.
Ability to work independently and successfully manage several projects and/or tasks of varying complexities simultaneously while balancing the workload, constraints and deliverables.
Strong collaboration, communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills.
Experience gathering business, functional/technical requirements, and implementing relevant solutions.
Experience with, but not limited to, procurement of software and related technology services.
Demonstrated success influencing key stakeholders on strategic direction based on recommendations backed by in-depth analysis.
Demonstrated experience investigating root causes for production critical incidents, and implementation of countermeasures.
Experience with troubleshooting complex integrated applications/processes.
Proven experience providing technical leadership and guidance to team members and project peers.
Experience with Ariba and solid working experience with all Microsoft applications (i.
e.
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, etc.
