Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and mentor tax associates and seniors on tax projects.
Review Federal and State income tax returns (e.
g.
, 1120, 1065, 1120-F) Review various schedules and forms, including Schedule M1, Form 5471, and Form 8833 Manage Gift and estate tax return (1041) reviews Handle multi-state taxation and international tax research Understand consolidated Tax Returns and Intercompany Transactions Prepare and review workpapers for domestic, international, and state tax returns Assist in deferred tax schedule calculations and FIN 48 analysis Coordinate with tax accounting team for integration of tax processes Identify and address client needs, manage resources, and communicate value propositions Supervise Tax Assistants and support their career development.
Manage client leads and end-to-end client management Ensure compliance processes are followed and filing requirements are met Implement best practices to improve processes Conduct quality checks on final deliverables and address tax issues Delegate and monitor assignments effectively Utilize available tax resources to enhance knowledge Provide training and coaching to tax professionals Contribute to team discussions and share knowledge for the group's benefit Requirements:

years of post-qualification experience in taxation, with a strong focus on US Corporate tax compliance in a similar organization.
Preferred qualifications include US CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent certification, or a CA or MBA from a reputable institute.
Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization, including written, verbal, and visual communication.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to lead teams and influence others at senior levels to reach consensus.
Proficiency in conducting thorough situational analyses and making decisions related to tax-related processes and systems.
Deep understanding of the business and awareness of peak operational periods.
Expertise in data analysis and reporting.
Ability to coach, train, and mentor staff effectively.
Collaboration with leadership to manage the team's workload efficiently.
