DB2 DB Admin
Required Technical and Professional Expertise Total years of relevant experience as 9-10 years Hands on experience as DBA in supporting applications using database products like DB2.
Additional knowledge or experience in products like My SQL Server, Neteeza is an advantage.
Basic tasks include Installation and configuration of Databases, Back up, Restoring databases, setting up High Availability, Disaster recovery, performance tuning, RAC administration, regular Housekeeping etc.
Needs to work out of Client location in Navi Mumbai and must be willing to work in shifts.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Certified in the use DB2 tool - DB2 Admin tools, QMF.
Ability to rebind the Plans/Packages, Granting required accesses to Packages/Plans/Collections Experience in Database Monitoring- DB2 tool omegamon to check current trace/status of any object Proficient in troubleshooting DB2 system log and bring up the problem if it cannot be fixed You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work Intuitive individual to manage change and proven time management Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications Basic procedure of DB2 system/tools applying PTF and tools upgrade DB2 DB Admin Recommended Skills Administration Agile Methodology Databases Disaster Recovery Housekeeping Ibm Db2 Apply to this job.
