Job Overview:
The Oracle DBA will be responsible primarily for supporting the daily operations of Oracle E-Business Suite (Financials, Procurement, Manufacturing, Distribution, HR & Payroll, Projects, Self Service, etc.) and working collaboratively with the functional and development teams.
Responsibilities
Installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, cloning, performance monitoring and optimization of the multi-node Oracle EBS 12 Applications on 11g/12c Databases
Working with System Analysts in the implementation of newer modules of Oracle SCM, Financials and custom interfaces, as needed
Implementing robust backup solutions and policies
Root-cause analysis and resolution of complex problems in support of production environments, including 24/7 on-call support on a rotating basis
This position is not limited to supporting only Oracle databases, but includes a variety of different Applications like Oracle Portal, E-Business Suite (11i/R12), Application Server, OBIEE, Essbase, SOA, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience in the related field.

years of Oracle database administration experience with at least 3 years as an Oracle Applications DBA supporting Oracle EBS (11i/R12).
Thorough knowledge of underlying the Oracle Applications Technology Stack, database architecture, schemas/products and database objects.
Experience in 12.2 Oracle EBS Application's Utilities (e.g. AD Administration, AutoConfig, rapid clone, etc.).
Experience with installation, configuration, ongoing maintenance and upgrades of Oracle 11g databases.
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL and UNIX shell scripting.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team player.
Willingness to learn new technologies.
Flexibility related to scheduling and travel.
Additional Desired Skills:
Experience with patch and maintenance in a multi-node installation.
Expertise in various operating systems .
Three or more years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server (2005, 2008) DBA.
