Java / UI Developer
As a Senior JAVA UI Developer for Insight, you will enter a high-energy and tech savvy world. We are looking for someone who can provide senior level web development, has a proven track record of creative web site development and has strong organizational skills.

As a Senior JAVA UI Developer you can expect to:
Be a team player: You will be working with team members daily to develop a Web 2.0 Rich User Interface in accordance with design specifications, user interface style guides and established usability standards.
Be a trusted advisor: On a daily basis you will provide application development, testing, documentation, implementation, and maintenance for e-commerce systems.
Develop new thigs: You will be developing new things daily. You will be expected to develop Responsive Web sites using HTML5, CC3, Angular and Node.js. You will also find yourself developing RESTful web services using Spring Framework, and code that is cross-browser/cross-platform UI compatible and can troubleshoot associated issues.
Expand your knowledge: As a Senior JAVA UI Developer you will maintain cutting edge knowledge of current and emerging technologies, industry trends/standards, modern web browser capabilities, compatibility issues, W3C standards compliance and accessibility issues.
Use multiple platforms daily: You will use Adobe AEM Web Content Management for content curation. You will also support existing applications using the following technology: JSPs, Java, Spring, XML, Maven and Eclipse.
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's in computer science
Strong experience with J2EE, JSP, and XML/XSLT and Web framework Spring MVC
Hands-on knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX.
Hands-on knowledge of JavaScript libraries like jQuery
Understanding of web accessibility and experience coding 508 compliant sites
Experience solving cross-browser/cross-platform UI compatibility issues
