Samsung is seeking a customer-focused, organizationally-savvy and strategic-thinking professional to serve as a Sr. Channel Marketing Manager on our National Retail account team. In this role you will deliver a best-in-class customer experience across Samsung's Mobile portfolio with assigned Retailers. You will have the opportunity to build and cultivate collaborative relationships with the Retailers; to develop and execute marketing plans which include in-store and online merchandising, e-commerce initiatives and media campaigns that drive sales; and to fundamentally elevate the Samsung brand at these leading electronics retailers in the US. The successful candidate for this role should:
Have a deep understanding of the online and offline shopping journey, consumer pain points and industry best practices. Have a proven ability to execute a strategic vision grounded in deep insights; and execute that vision with excellence. Be based out of our Plano, TX Mobile headquarters, or Seattle, WA area office. Detailed responsibilities of this challenging and rewarding role include, but are not limited to the following:
Manage the consumer shopping journey for Samsung Mobile product categories (mobile phones, tablets, computing and accessories) with assigned Retailers, in a way that maximizes brand engagement & sales conversion. Manage agency and internal teams to execute channel marketing programs, including product introductions, strategic initiatives, merchandising and promotional events. Analyze and Optimize results of our advertising and merchandising efforts, present learnings, and assist in improving business strategy and execution. Evaluate key performance metrics related to consumer experience, engagement, and conversion; Optimize marketing ROI with structured and disciplined KPIs and metrics reporting. Work directly with sales and marketing leads across teams and categories to drive and execute Retail campaigns and programs. Execute with excellence and continually look to drive improvements. Work cross-functionally to oversee the timely planning and execution of marketing campaigns and programs. Work on multiple, simultaneous marketing programs that require high-speed tactical execution. Manage day-to-day relationships with agency partners and internal teams to deliver compelling and effective marketing (on/off-line) content. Skills and Qualifications Knowledge of digital content and e-commerce marketing platforms to develop, optimize and track online consumer experience programs. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; proven ability to lead initiatives across teams. Superior project management skills, including the ability to prepare written plans and schedules, identify objectives, coordinate and direct project teams and manage budgets. High-level of confidence, integrity, enthusiasm, executive presence that fits a fast-paced, energetic and proactive organization. Work independently and actively in a team environment in order to achieve customer business objectives, personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames and specifications. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with high attention to detail. Must possess the ability to articulate clearly and effectively over the phone and through email. BA/BS with 5
years of experience in channel marketing, digital marketing, digital advertising, project management or related fields. National Retail experience a plus, but not required.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Digital Marketing & Social Media, Marketing Research & AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
