Together, we are building a better tomorrow for our customers, partners and communities Detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to be in charge of all quality assurance activities Individual will make/coordinate the each project's schedule (entry & approval) and test plan as well as report to HQ or internal team the risk points such as blocking issues before launch or carrier entry date Individual will also create Technical functions and features related Test case, verify issues, perform Sanity test in order to ensure there is no unidentified problems.Role and Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES/PRINCIPAL DUTIES (Essential Functions) Develop deep understanding of wireless technologies including Bluetooth, NFC, UWB, & Wi-Fi Collaborate & communicate with 3rd Party Vendors on new features, market issue reproductions and testing of Connected Car / Wi-Fi Design and implementing test strategies, test plans, functional and performance test cases, policies, infrastructures Working with Developers and Project Managers in defining and designing performance test tools and infrastructures designing and building performance and IOT test infrastructure Create, implement, maintain and recommend changes to test cases, test procedures and instructions, and product evaluation processes. Specifies test equipment required for product verifications or qualification testing Provide training of Qualification test personnel as required to ensure thorough test coverage Assist in the testing and evaluation of new features to ensure that said products contain no unidentified problems when released in the market Responsible for planning, processing and performing all jobs in an efficient manner Work closely with MQL CS team and SQE, R&D group in HQ Responding promptly to reports submitted by other QA engineer and professionally report SW/HW detected issues to upper management Review, edit and update internal test cases, test reports, and test tools Conduct issue root cause analysis with limited support from upper management Analyze and understand test specifications and correctly translate them to set up test designs and test cases Analyze and manage issues detected by QA engineers to professionally present issue reports to upper management and other departments Test new features to ensure that features and performance are correct, and that test results are accurate; Capable of writing proposals and professional reports and make presentations to colleagues and upper management Responsible for communicating with R&D and other stake holders regarding test needs and performance Provide feedback to analysis/training staff about performance considerations / usability issues concerning software specifications and implementation Research and recommend test tools to upper management. Also provide recommendations to increase engineer productivity and s/w test management Skills and Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE BA/BS degree preferred. 3-4 years of experience in related field Excellent written and oral communication skills Must be able to work well under the pressure of timelines, and demonstrate a sense of urgency when driving for results. Ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a fast-pace and dynamic environment
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
