Role and Responsibilities Role Summary The Space Planning Sr. Manager is responsible for driving the customer experience across Carrier and retail channels, managing reset activities, and leading the space planning Sr. Specialist in planogram creation. The SP Sr. Manager is also responsible for the future development and current maintenance of the planogram software (Visual Merchandising Portal) managing the relationship with our Big Group development partners as well as leading the space planning team through business side testing and training on new implementations. The Space Planning Sr. manager will collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing, Design, Operations, Technology, Service, Finance, Field, Account and Strategy teams at a North American levels to bring merchandising and services to life in our retail experiences that elevate the Consumer Experience. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Coaching and development of the Space Planning team. Manage the creation and implementation of planograms in Samsung's Visual Merchandising Portal that support the strategy and drive profitability and accuracy in product range to space allocation, and continually innovate merchandising strategy to support the needs and growth of the business. Master Administration-level access to Samsung Visual Merchandising Portal. Work with Product Merchandising partners both with local based teams and Field teams to incorporate global considerations and customer feedback into space planning strategies. Manage and drive product prioritization to be used in the visual storytelling and planogram creation. Create efficiencies with existing processes, improving implementation in stores, and innovating Merchandising. Provide merchandise reporting from VMP to key stakeholders throughout retail. Key Qualifications Analytical and informed decision maker with ability to generate measurable business impact Cross-functional agility, and ability to independently lead and meet objectives in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment Process-oriented, with ability to flex from high-level strategy to fine attention to detail Ability to foster teamwork and align objectives across diverse groups Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong Excel Skillset and Knowledge Experience with Space Planning and Floor Planning 5-8 years prior Merchandising or Retail Management experience preferred BA/BS or equivalent degree (Business, Marketing, or related degree preferred)
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
