We partner with the leading-edge providers of video conferencing and collaboration software, e.g. Teams and Zoom, to create complete system solutions for every room and environment in our customer campuses. OVERVIEW We are seeking a Software Architect with expert knowledge in unified communication (UC) domain. This successful candidate would lead initiatives related to our Windows and Android based UC solutions. In this role, you will help us architect and build new products as well as enhance our existing product offerings. You will work with other architects and stakeholders from related disciplines to drive the engineering innovation and design of state-of-art, robust UC products. You will get a chance to work on cutting-edge unified communication technologies needed for every conference room as well as home office environments. You must be self-motivated, creative, and thrive on solving complicated problems in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Drive coding standards and best practices to ensure robust code quality. Work with other domain experts to provide end-to-end system design of unified communication solutions. Create and demonstrate proof of concepts promptly to guide business decisions. Research and innovate technologies to come up with simple, original engineering solutions to complicated problems and customer demands. Create architectural design documents that can be easily followed and handed over to development team members to implement against. Develop high-level product specifications based on requirements with attention to system integration and feasibility within time and cost constraints. Lead and contribute to full lifecycle product development including software architecture/design/implementation, project estimates, scheduling, integration planning and deliveries. Develop a full, hands-on understanding of our existing system and application framework to allow for future development, support of other developers, and troubleshooting of issues. Help to drive continuous improvement and integration of legacy software projects during ongoing development. Work in an agile environment focusing on the most important deliverables for our customers. Analyze and problem-solve field issues and provide onsite support as necessary. QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent is required. 15
years of software development experience on embedded Windows and/or Android platforms. Proven track record of delivering robust solutions as a Software Architect for complex systems. Passionate and experienced in driving continuous technological innovation and deliveries. Proven track record of learning and applying new technologies quickly. Demonstrated solid experience serving as the lead developer throughout the full, end-to-end software development lifecycle. This includes scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation, code review, testing, and delivery. Proficient with object-oriented programming with C/C++/C#/Java/Kotlin and modular design. Expert knowledge on unified communication fundamentals and operation, with preferred experience in a number of the following:
Teams, Skype for Business, Zoom, SIP, UVC. Strong communication skills to articulate development strategies, architecture and design. Self-starter and thrive in fast-paced, agile development environment. Experience with GIT and SVN source control management. Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
