Quick Apply Full-time 6 hours ago Full Job Description RPM Staffing is seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Manager in Plano, Texas! The overall responsibility of this candidate is to manage the overall functions of the warehouse department and oversee the daily operations, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and loading.
Responsibilities Include:
Successfully leads the team in performing fast-paced work required to run the distribution area in a safe, efficient, and productive manner and holding warehouse team members accountable regarding performance and productivity.
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of the team while meeting and exceeding daily production goals.
Hiring and training new warehouse team members.
Conducts quarterly conversations and annual performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Own the development, implementation, and maintenance of warehouse operations.
Plan, direct, and control a wide variety of operational duties through management and warehouse staff.
Review and monitor operational processes to ensure that they are aligned with the business objectives, with a constant focus on continual improvement.
Researches, identifies, and presents new ideas to improve warehouse operations.
Associate degree (or equivalent) in logistics or supply chain management.
Minimum of 5 years experience in warehouse operations setting and 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
Demonstrated experience in managing and communicating effectively with shipping vendors.
Experience in Lean Management, OSHA, and warehouse safety.
Background in Lean Manufacturing preferred.
