Responsibilities:
Greet all guests entering the store, answer questions, provide directions and alert staff (i.
e.
page) when someone arrives to meet or visit them; Ensure the front desk is neat, presentable and equipped with all the necessary supplies to service our customers; Answer incoming calls; redirect phone calls to the appropriate individual/department and take messages, when applicable; Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email; Works in the Country Store as a sales associate as needed; Accept all letters and packages and distribute them to the correct recipient; prepares outgoing mail and packages for pickup; Balance daily deposits; Maintains front desk records and files; Responsible for filing and data entry as requested; Perform other related duties as assigned by his/her supervisor or other managerial authority at Weir's.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 6 months Customer Service experience, preferably in a retail setting.
Cash handling experience preferred; not required.
Must enjoy working with people - courteous, polite, and cooperative attitude.
Able to handle multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
Good listening and good communication skills; able to follow directions.
Demonstrates initiative and ability to work with a sense of urgency; good time management skills.
Flexibility and teach-ability.
Computer proficiency.
