Qualifications/Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Requirements include:
A Bachelors degree in human resources management, or business administration; or related field or equivalent certification.

years experience in labor relations focused role in a unionized setting Problem solving Effective oral and written communication Ability to maintain confidentiality Mediation and conflict resolution Strong work ethic Ability to multi-task efficiently Build relationships at all levels of the organization Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job.
Job Description The Labor Relations Director provides strategic guidance and support to leadership across all departments and geographic regions regarding best practices in negotiation, implementation, proactive employee relations policies and guidance, and day-to-day administration of their local collective bargaining agreements.
The Director is the subject matter expert who will lead union contract negotiations, oversee workplace investigations, respond to information requests, and represent U.
S.
Renal Care at arbitrations, mediations, and appeal hearings.
The Director will develop influential relationships across the organization to manage productive labor-union relations and ensure the best outcomes for U.
S.
Renal Care and its team members.
SUMMARY Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties and tasks may be assigned.
Provide guidance, coaching, and direction to address employee disputes, investigations, and maintain a positive work environment; assess performance, provide feedback, and actively develop talent.
Build strong partnerships with management and union leadership through the resolution of employee grievances, contract negotiation, and contract interpretation.
Partner with Legal and subject matter experts to ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and resolve labor relations issues.
Collaborate with union leadership to maintain positive and productive relationships, including regular meetings and negotiations of collective bargaining agreements.
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and standards, including National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) and Labor Management Relations Act (LMRA).
Foster a culture of collaboration and mutual respect between management and organized labor.
Facilitate the resolution of labor disputes and represent the company in arbitration or other legal proceedings, as necessary.
Upholds management goals of corporation by leading staff in team concepts and promoting a team effort.
Maintains effective personnel management and employee relations, including evaluating the performance of all personnel; approving and submitting all hours worked and counseling and disciplining employees.
Recruits, trains, develops, and supervises personnel.
