This group in particular works with clients to renovate their financial processes and programs to create one cohesive operating model to support the many demands on modern companies today.
We enable Finance departments as a strategic business partner with end-to-end transformation advisory services and technology capabilities.
We guide clients through ERP Modernization, Software Selection, Process Harmonization, Finance Analytic Design, and create an executable roadmap that brings the vision to life.
Our team members are experts in all process areas, including FP&A, Plan to Profit, Acquire to Retire, Order to Cash, Close to Disclose, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, and Treasury and Tax.

Responsibilities Consult directly with our clients and provide finance transformation services designed to help them solve their most complex business and technology challenges Using Cognizant framework, assist in facilitating workshops, discussions, interviews, and focus groups to understand current state of client landscape, and gather the input necessary to create client opportunities and realize their vision on an executable roadmap Develop implementation strategies, formulate project plans, and address specific engagement issues, in collaboration with middle- and senior-level client personnel Operate collaboratively and cross-functionally within the Cognizant Consulting practice to bring a clear vision together for our clients across multiple Practice Groups Establish business and functional requirements, then translate them into actionable project initiatives and value metrics Provide program management to deliver on time, on budget, and on value Capture best practices and contribute to Cognizant knowledge management initiatives Lead a team of Consultants; mentor and support junior talent within the team Work creatively and analytically with a structured approach to problem-solving; challenge old business models by innovatively designing new user experiences and bring the client along on the journey Contribute to business development and thought leadership efforts on an annual basis Qualifications 6 - 10
years of experience in managing programs and/or transformations for Clients, at least 5 of which were in a Tier-1 Consulting Firm or similar environment A background in Finance & Accounting that enables you to know what good looks like oPrevious experience participating and/or leading the lifecycle of a business transformation Functional expertise in relevant analysis tools and package software, such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, Dynamics, etc.
A desire to work with enterprise-level clients and the ability to manage through complexity Enough technical knowledge to understand how the technical aspects must support the business needs from the various initiatives and manage issues coming from their integration Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working; the ability to exercise humility with confidence and demonstrate leadership and professionalism at all times The ability to manage high-level stakeholders, both internally and externally, in a fast-paced, demanding environment Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones Ability and willingness to travel when needed Work Authorization Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.
