OFFICE ASSISTANT (BAM) Bowhead seeks an Office Assistant to join our team in Plano, TX.
The manufacturing facility is the office of our Manufacturing & Products group and this person will be responsible for all office duties to keep that group running smoothly and effectively.
The Office Assistant will join a team of individuals in the facility and must be a go-getter with a can-do, proactive and customer-service oriented attitude.
Responsibilities:
Essential functions will include:
Interfacing with vendors, repairman and facility landlord regarding any repairs or preventative maintenance items Coordinate office meetings and customer visits Purchase and replenish office supplies Print shipping labels and ensure packages are sent as needed Attend safety committee meetings and track to-do items Pick up and distribute mail daily Balance company credit card and petty cash on a monthly basis
Qualifications:
A High School diploma or equivalent is required however, an Associate's degree or any additional education is desired Additionally, qualified candidates must have to two to five (2-5) years of similar, professional experience Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 10-20 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
There are currently no Security Clearance requirements for this position.
Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
