We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team.
As a Kennel Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our furry friends.
This position requires a strong love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
Schedule:
ONLY A FOUR DAY WORK WEEK! Monday and Tuesday 8:
45am-6:
30pm (required 45 minute lunch) $11.
00 an hour Saturday and Sunday 11:
30am-6pm (optional 30 minute lunch) $15.
00 an hour Duties:
- Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and administering medication as directed - Clean and maintain kennel facilities, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all animals - Walk dogs and provide exercise and socialization opportunities - Monitor animal behavior and report any changes or concerns to management - Assist with bathing, grooming, and basic training of dogs - Perform animal restraint when necessary for medical procedures or grooming - Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior Requirements:
- Previous experience working with animals in a professional setting (veterinary clinic, animal shelter, etc.
) - Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds - Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed If you are passionate about providing exceptional care for animals and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
