As a Solution Architect, you'll be responsible for facilitating important design decisions for development teams.
You'll assist with defining a technical solution and ensuring alignment and providing technical leadership for the evolving architectural capabilities of the entire solution.
You'll work closely with the Enterprise Architects and System Engineers to ensure that individual program and product strategies align with business and technical objectives.
The Principal-Solution Architect will be responsible for IoT solution architecture with a primary focus on designing repeatable and reusable solutions to support IoT business opportunities, KPIs, technical objectives and timelines.
Collaborates with the Mobility BSS/OSS domains and all IoT technical, product and marketing domains to ensure flow through from sales through service provisioning and activation, billing and care.
Overall Purpose:

Defines Technical Solution and ensures alignment; Provide technical leadership for the evolving architectural capabilities of the entire solution.
Works closely with project stakeholders, customers, BSS/OSS Architects, Enterprise Architects, System Engineers and development teams to define high-level solution and align the project architectural direction with the IoT architecture roadmap.
Dedicates time and care to communicate and share knowledge and socialize the rationale with the IoT management and community.
Key Roles and
Responsibilities:
Specifies primary components, subsystems, and their interactions within the Integrated BSS/OSS and IoT Architecture solutions.
Focuses on creating a shared technical and architectural vision to ensure alignment across the solution, avoiding one-off solutions.
Analyzes technical trade-offs, ensuring solutions are flexible, repeatable, and reusable.
Identifies interfaces and collaborations between components and defines higher-level functional and nonfunctional requirements (NFRs).
Advocates for the use of common technology, design practices, and infrastructure where applicable to promote code, component, and pattern reuse.
Creates and delivers various technical diagrams (context diagrams, sequence diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, etc.
) to illustrate system architectures and processes.
Ensures solutions are designed to take the simplest path, eliminating redundant and unnecessary systems and steps.
Works within the overall IoT architecture team to evaluate, leverage, or sunset new and existing technical components of IoT and BSS/OSS.
Partners with solution/enterprise and technical architects to deliver essential technology architecture artifacts for the end-to-end architecture and solution approach.
Establishes an incremental implementation strategy and lays down a technical foundation for the architectural runway to maintain architectural flexibility.
Influences common modeling, design, and coding practices across the development teams.
Facilitates the resolution of crucial design decisions, guiding development teams towards aligned and efficient solutions.
Key focus areas:
Solution engineering for integration between IoT systems and Mobility BSS/OSS systems as well as the RAN network.
Job Contribution:

Education:
Preferred Masters of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; or equivalent experience.
Experience:
