The primary objective of this role is to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and efficiency of the company's payroll process and to oversee the work of one payroll coordinator.

What You'll Do:
Oversee processing of a 1500-employee weekly payroll across multiple sites/states.
Ensure accuracy of all employee data in payroll and time-tracking system.
Manage at least one Payroll Coordinator.
Proactively identify areas potential problems and recommend resolutions.
Make recommendations for process and system improvements.
Maintain relationships with outside vendors, particularly Paylocity, and work with them on solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
Collaborate with the accounting and financial teams on budgets and financial reports Enter and audit hires, status changes, terminations, tax, and direct deposit changes.
Audit timecards prior to payroll processing.
Prepare, audit, and distribute payroll reports.
Process wage garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, etc.
Troubleshoot and resolve payroll/tax reporting issues.
