Defines web portal based solutions to address complex problems
Maintains the internal user interface platform for the organization
Interprets business plans for automation requirements
Assists in preparing training programs
Participates in development of the work plan for a client server based system
running JAVA and provide on going support of existing Java development
Creates technical documentation and specifications
Education
Typically high school diploma
Bachelors is preferred
Minimum of 5 years Java Development with at least 3 years experience in
Java/J2EE Technologies
Experience developing Web based Internet/Intranet, Distributed and Multi-tier
architecture Applications using Java and J2EE Technologies, Java and JSP
Servlets, Struts, Schema, and Business Objects Enterprise Server
Experience with OO concepts, EJB, JDBC, Transaction management (JTA), JMS,
Weblogic, Hibernate, Webservices, UML, and Design Patterns.
Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL and Database technologies with Oracle
Preferred experience in Apache Tomcat 5.0 Application Server / web server
May require experience with JUnit
Strong analytical skills for solving complex business and technical problems
Strong coding and testing skills required
TO BE CONSIDERED QUALIFIED SUBMITTED CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:
Strong hands on experience with design and development of java based applications effectively leveraging design pattern
Strong communications skills ability to work with distributed team
Experience working through entire product life cycle including design, development and product support
Prior experience with large-scale real time or batch mode data processing systems. Experience with hadoop and/or Spark ecosystem components is a strong plus.
