We are seeking a Technical Quality Engineer for an international plastics and resin company that has a regional office in Plano.
The qualified professional will provide critical operational support throughout the growing manufacturing company and will work closely with clients.
The right candidate will have the ability to understand and troubleshoot process systems essential for the chemical manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate must have a knowledge of chemistry/plant operations efficiencies and processes, have the ability to read blueprints, grasp fundamental electrical and mechanical concepts, and computer skills are also required.

Key
Responsibilities:
An analysis of business and a comprehensive technical strategy required to achieve success
Work with logistics that impact high level of performance to clients and overall client satisfaction
An accurate determination of plant upgrade feasibility based on ROI analysis
More reliable plant and equipment operations
Improved utility consumption and plant throughout
Improved process control
Partner with international team for alliance and overall improved customer satisfaction
Improved maintenance, and health and safety standards
Ability to travel if necessary
Reduce waste and environmental impact and improve environmental reporting
Background required:
College degree in chemical, electrical or mechanical engineering
Experience in a quality control role either in a plant or in an associated role
Demonstration of key successes and leadership
Strong work ethic
Strong client interaction and commitment to high standards and delivery
Strong computer skills are a must
Strong technical and analytical skills
Ability to be a team player
Ability to multi-task for a growing $500 million dollar company
3-5 year previous good knowledge working in a manufacturing plant that works with logistics preferably with international experience as well
3-5 year project management experience focused on efficiencies and high quality delivery to clients
Experience with Six Sigma, or a related process is a valuable plus
Relocation is available for the ideal candidate
Travel will potentially be required and can be up to 50% nationallyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
