Executive Assistant
SDL is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant to support a senior executive in Plano, Texas office. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of sales administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a fast-paced executive.
The ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important. Ability to navigate global time zones.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Assist with sales reports and creating reporting with salesforce.com
Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents
File and retrieve documents and reference materials
Conduct research, assemble and analyze data to prepare reports and documents
Manage and maintain executives schedules, appointments and travel arrangements
Arrange and coordinate meetings and events
Monitor, respond to and distribute incoming communications
Assist with social media interaction and blog updates
Receive and interact with incoming visitors
Liaise with internal staff at all levels

3-5 years' experience supporting high level executives with demanding schedules/needs
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Exceptional calendar management skills, including coordination of complex, worldwide executive meetings
High level of proficiency of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience in assisting management with the creation of PowerPoint presentations
Comfortable formatting excel reports
Experience utilizing Salesforce.com
Advanced communication skills
Experience coordinating travel for management

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
