Senior Windows Systems Engineer

McAfee, Inc. has an opportunity for a Senior Windows Systems Engineer position in our worksite at Plano, TX. Duties: Perform evaluation and testing of new hardware and software. Troubleshoot endpoint software and hardware issues. Create and deploy global SOE images. Build core endpoint images and perform client patching, hardware and software inventory management for McAfee VDI initiative. Perform SCCM 2012 R2 management and maintain global inventory of corporate IT resources. Generate monthly reports around Key Performance Indicators. Administer McAfee Endpoint security products.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, followed by 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
Experience must include:
1. Microsoft Windows imaging, deployment, and patching using Microsoft Windows Server (up to 2012) and Workstation;
2. Microsoft Windows Software Center Configuration Manager (SCCM 2012r2), including global architecture, design, and deployment experience;
3. SCCM management and administration;
4. Enterprise application and security deployment and retrieval, including software development pre-release code;
5. Distributed File System (DFS) on 2008 server;Virtualization using Citrix VDI configuration and deployment, VMWare workstation, and VSphere;
6. SQL server 2012 r2 administration and management;
7. Administration and management of McAfee Policy Orchestrator (ePO) and McAfee EMM;
8. Endpoint hardware and operating system testing and validation, including coordination of global technology refreshes with hardware introduction and retirement;
9. Scripting, including Batch, PowerShell, and Visual Basic;
10. Active Directory (AD), Domain Name System (DNS), DHCP, Group Policy, and Controller administration;
11. ITIL knowledge, understanding and practice including Problem Investigation and Corrective Actions.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
