Verity Recruiting has partnered with a publicly traded company located in Plano as they are seeking an exceptional individual for a Financial Analyst Manager. This highly visible role will report directly to the VP of Strategic Planning & Analysis and will play a key role in driving both operational efficiency and business effectiveness for the company. Essential duties will be but are not limited to:
Act as an essential collaborator as the company continues to expand and formalize its analytical and business intelligence capabilities.
Manage the day-to-day business reporting and analysis (operations)
Monitor and analyze revenue and expense data to assist management in identifying risk and opportunities to the business
Partner with senior and field operations teams in identifying performance outliers to drive results
Collaborate with other department heads on key initiatives providing analytical support
Perform ad-hoc analysis as required to support business initiatives and special projects
Provide extensive P&L support to determine cost saving measures and trends
Ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance, MBA is highly desired. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience is required. Must have strong problem solving and strategic thinking skills. Comfortable interacting with all levels within the organization and have the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects to completion. Knowledge in business intelligence suites such as MicroStratgy or Tableau is highly desired. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
