Technical Field Adviser / Inspector for HRSG Systems

We are recruiting to fill 7 US based Field Service Technical Advisors to service customers with inspections of HRSG systems, and related equipment, for steam powered power generation equipment. Some of these activities include conducting and managing inspections, supporting projects, writing detailed reports, assessing remaining life of equipment, and analyzing failed equipment.
These positions are based in the US and require candidates that are US citizen or legal residents with a current US Green Card. You must be able to pass a drug test and background check. Some of the physical requirements of this position are traveling / field service job that requires you to be able to be away from home for extended periods of time, the ability to lift safely a minimum of 50 pounds, perform physical work related activities, and wear personal safety protection equipment (PPE).
Duties and Responsibilities
.
o Performing HRSG inspections, support projects, writing detailed reports.
o Evaluating suitability of continuing equipment operation
o Assessing remaining life of equipment, analyzing failed equipment,
o Support customers to optimizing plant performance,
o Traveling to customer sites that can require your being away from home for extended periods of time,
o Perform physical work related activities
o Wear personal safety protection equipment (PPE) required to safely perform job duties.
Required Experience
o Field Service experience working with HRSG systems involving Boilers and related parts and systems, such as; firing systems with fuel and air injection systems, pressure parts, tubing, piping, superheater, economizer, waterwalls, firing system, low NOx burners, pulverizer, stoker, air preheater, pulp & paper mill, chemical recovery unit
o Experience as a field service technician working with customers at their sites performing HRSG system inspections
o Experience writing field reports and processing related paperwork
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
Educational requirements
o BS Degree in Engineering or A.S. in Power Plant Technology or related field experience up to 10 years.
o Military training with Boilers
