Summary:
L3 Mustang Technology has an opening for a CPSO/Security Specialist. The CPSO will support the Division Security Manager by carrying out the security programs of a subset of cleared programs. Specific responsibilities will focus on understanding applicable government regulations and contract security specifications along with carrying out any subsequent implementations. In addition, the CPSO would be responsible for the development and administration of security programs and standard operating procedures (SOP) for newly awarded programs in the future.
Major Responsibilities/Activities Statements:
Provide security leadership, administration and oversight to assigned programs
Maintain excellent working relationships with internal customers, external customers and government agencies while interacting on all classified matters
Support the development and implementation of an effective security education, training, and awareness program
Conduct administrative inquires followed by timely incident reporting if required
Conduct security indoctrinations, debriefings, audits, and annual refresher briefings
Create/update contract specific security plans and procedures
Support proper processing of incoming and outgoing classified visits, personnel access requests (PAR), and classified material transportation/courier plans
Remain up to date on applicable policies, procedures and regulations from the company, customers, and government agencies
Provide security oversight during construction to ICD 705. Including but not limited to preparation of the Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC) and Construction Security Plan (CSP)
Other security-related duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Required
Experience:
5 years of relevant experience as a security professional operating in a cleared defense contractor environment with contract requirements in excess of the NISPOM
1 years direct experience as CPSO or ACPSO
1 years of direct experience submitting Personnel Access Requesting (PARs)
Must possess a strong understanding of the JAFAN and ICD manuals
Required Skills:
Ability to multi-task and support multiple programs
Excellent people skills, with experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment
Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organizational success
Proficient with Microsoft Office products
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation)
Other Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship
Existing Secret clearance; with background investigation within last 5 years
Ability to obtain any additional clearances as required
Desired:
Prior experience as CPSO and/or ACPSO
Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification
Prior experience with changing combinations on GSA approved locks
Bachelor's Degree
Educational Requirements: Physical Requirements:
High school diploma
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
Ability to travel up to 10%

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
