Summary:
This position will be responsible for providing handson involvement in Mustang's Supplier Quality Engineering and efforts to support successful execution of defense industry programs. The sphere of influence of the SQE encompasses the entire breadth of the purchased materials and services for the company. The primary focus of the SQE is the supplier element of the cost/schedule/ performance equation, the SQE shares accountability for the overall success of supported programs.
Major Responsibilities/Activities Statements:
Continually work with suppliers to improve performance, implement process control and quality plans
Interact routinely with Purchasing, Engineering and Suppliers to pro-actively improve quality of components
Create and institute Supplier Quality Engineering discipline/capability at Mustang
Develop, implement, and maintain Supplier Quality related processes, procedures, and performance metrics at the Company and Program level
Analyze, understand, and communicate supplier capabilities and strengths
Perform supplier Quality Systems audits and provide support for supplier Quality Systems improvements
Work with project work teams to define project deliverables, project planning, etc.
Support Program Quality Engineers with Supplier related issues to solve problems, design issues, or to improve quality or performance
Part of a cross functional team effort to manage Mustang's supplier base (identification, survey, performance monitoring, certification, relationship management, etc.)
Perform supplier Process and Procedure and Production Line Validation Audits
Identify and develop quality improvement initiatives to reduce cost and schedule and increase performance of the products
Job Requirements:
Required
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years in Supplier Quality Assurance/Management in a high-tech manufacturing environment (commercial and/or military)
Experience in supplier development and management and production program support
Experience in defense/government programs and manufacturing
Experience and ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
Required Skills:
Good interpersonal and teaming skills
Must be a good communicator/negotiator (written, verbal, & presentation)
The ability to work independently and with little direction
Should have an understanding of Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA) and Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA)
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Project
ANSI Y14.5, IPC 610 and 620, and MIL Specs and Standards experience
Production/Producability experience
Circuit board and fabricated item experience
Orientated to customer satisfaction
Other Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship
Ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance, existing clearance preferred.
Desired:
Experience in defense/government program Quality Assurance and manufacturing
Experience with SPC and 6-sigma techniques
IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 Certified or experienced
Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
Educational Requirements: Physical Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Engineering Preferred
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
Ability to travel up to 60% locally, 20% out of town

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
