Windsor Model Bb Cornet with lyre and carry case. This cornet was manufactured in Elkhart, Indiana by the Elkhart Band Instrument Company cerca 1939. This model was made for Montgomery Ward. All the slides can be removed and the valves move freely. The tuning slide moves but sticks a little when it is pushed completely into the lead pipe section. The mouthpiece receiver has been replaced and is not plated. The cornet has a good sound for its age and comes with a lyre, and soft shell carry case. All items are in "as is" condition so please inspect the photos for confirmation of the cornet's overall condition. Shipping cost will be applied at the time of sale. 1 of the tires has good tread, the other 3 have poor tread. They can be used as a "spare" tire for emergencies, or you can mount your winter tires on the rims in time for winter instead of having to pay each time you have your mechanic mounts or removes your snow tires. $30 for the wheel with good tread, $15 each for the others, or $60 for all 4....
